Hi insured my disco 1 today with adrian flux and i got a discount for being a member on here and lro (pleased with the price)

Among othere things they are asking for proof of club membership ,how do i go about this ?

Thanks

I may stick around for some advice as i do own a landrover so im sure i shall need some at some point !!
But when im offered legitimate a chance to save £100 on my insurance i took that chance as im sure any sane person would

Mmm... six posts for £100 eh?

5,000 posts ought to get my insurance free for life!

bit presumptuous isn't it!!!

thinking you'll find sane people on here

Or maybe youve got more time on your hands

Im fairly sure the discount system some insurance companys run to club members is based on the babsis that you will take more pride and there for care of your car and be a lower insurance risk not the amount of time you have spent talking to people on internet forums

Im a member of clubs and forums for other car types and have enjoyed both the technical know how and the insurance discount available but since i am new to land rover ownership im also new to land rover forums

Perhaps it wasnt wise for my first post to be asking about this but flux are asking for proof so id rather get it out the way thanks :D

Hi,

If you can PM me your policy number, I can confirm this on your policy.

The 'Three week' part refers to the time-scale to provide proof, rather than the time-scale in which you have to join up.

Kind regards,
Jordan

I would of thought having 30 years no claims would be enough to get cheap car insurance but alas I still get the spanish inquisition off insurance companies and restrictions blah blah etc etc.

Apparently its to pay for none insured drivers :(

Well lets ALL not bother with insurance then , sorted :5bsifone:
