Hi all, sorry I've not been keeping up with my rebuild thread, I shall be sorting that soon...been so snowed under at work, combined with doing the rebuild I have no chance to blog about it! Anyway......
We've just got to end of the rebuild and have hit some problems with the tank. So it's a 300tdi 110 CSW chassis from Richards but with a td5 rear. The td5 tank has gone in great, had some problem with the anti roll bar, filler pipe and breather..basically it wasn't the right shape, the pipes weren't long enough and the diameter was wrong, but we're over that and the anti roll bar now with the power of eBay... the problem we're now faced with is the fuel level gauge..we have a rest of world sender (so it still works with 300tdi) but we can't wire it in because we've not a clue what the plug is? The wiring loom from auto sparks has the 2 pin plug unit on and I have the receiving plug for it but no way of connecting that to the sender...any ideas of what the plug is or a part number from Land Rover?
