Hi guys,
So driving up to Manchester from Bristol this afternoon and my 5th gear an almighty clunk and rattling grinding sound of metal crushing metal is no more.
4th is my new 5th. Anyone know a cost effective efficient way to rectify this. I know Ashcroft would probably be first choice.
Thanks

Been there, done that! Can recommend ashcroft. My gearbox died in similar fashion, ashcroft supplied new for old, being going strong for a year now.

Sounds like 5th gear sheered off the mainshaft. Get a recon I'd say. Again, I recommend Ashcrofts.

I got mine off a guy in Birmingham was a lot cheaper and had it 3 years no problems he advertises on ebay or at least he did.
