Yes afraid so. When I have ever sold a car on line I try to show it warts and all so any viewers are not disappointed when they check the car out in person. I leave the reg. on show so they can check MOT history also. Hidden reg. numbers make me suspicious. Maybe I am just too cynical?
i'm the same.. i've got a car sat on the drive now. It sounds bad but i cant be bothered to sell it because i know its a heap that nobody would want, but i'm not going to leave out the bad bits to make it look attractive

I notice that many P38's for sale on line, in the photos the driver's seat outside bolster is never in shot?? Think we all know why.
Here’s mine, about right for 88k miles.

you mean make a car last longer?
Not necessarily, just make it look good until the engine blows up. I bought a Kia Sorrento that was 10 years old and had 85k on the clock, it had been well looked after and was nearly mint condition but the driver seat bolster was shot and made the interior look bad. The leather was a light grey which always looks worse than black. I've seen several beautiful range rovers where the worn seat bolster ruins the look. Manufacturers are always looking for ways to improve their product but often miss the obvious stuff.
