Press Brake Pedal , front lights go on

Bit of an issue , may have been like it for a while , but only just noticed ,

When I press the brake pedal with lights off , instrument panel lights up and so do main beam lights ?????

Brake lights work as normal ,

This happens when I am stationary , either ignition or engine on , any ideas ?

issue?? anyway have you checked to see if any wires have bin worn through with the movement of yer brake pedal?

I guess my concern or issue is , if it's happening when I'm moving , when I brake will someone think I'm flashing them to let them out etc etc and cause a dangerous situation

get it sorted afore you use it again earthling , check wot slob sis , also all earth connections . . . . . . .i will ask porky to check out possibilities fer yer , eeze busy fixin the rockits warp speed modulator, so e mite be awhile yet [eeze er furra bread]. . . .

Check the earths on the brake lights, if they are no good they could be back feeding through another circuit causing them to come on. Bad earths cause all sorts of wierd things to happen.

if that wur the case the brake lights wouldn't work as normal. they would be dimmer

I had exaclty the same problem & its a bad brake bulb, the filaments inside were touching each other
