8 inches is roughly 200mm so you'd have roughly 42mm over the width of the rim with the tread and a bit more with sidewall bulge, even then ideally they should sit on a 10 inch rim which would be 250mm roughly but you could get away with the 8 inch rims.

I’ve read that on an 8” rim you can only go up to 245 but I’ve heard people fitting wider are there any complications thanks
