Pre Carpeting body work patch up.

hi guys

going to carpet and seat the rear of my 110. there are one or two small bolt holes where things have been attached at some point, before I carpet (or sound proof the roof) should I be looking to have these holes filled to avoid the carpeting getting wet and making her rusty? if yes any recommendations for what/how? is it a welding job or is there a body work filler out there I cant find?

Rivits up to 6mm, pan head bolts or rubber blind bungs for bigger.

thanks hadn't thought about rivets.

Rubber bungs are what I used, work a treat and easy to remove if needed. Just ran a bead of silicon round before seating.

What ever you do the carpet will end up wet sooner or later!

that is true condensation is definitely an issue in there!
