Power steering fluid

Hi, my dad went to get in the family disco last night ('94 300TDi auto) and there was no steering. Looked this morning and the gasket that seals the two halves together has leaked, so although instant gasket has been used (as a temporary fix) we have no power steering fluid to go in, other than several litres of highly expensive BMW fluid (from memory I believe it is CH11F, or something similar). Will this work? Is it going to be BMW only or just very good fluid? Any help would be appreciated.

The spec for power steering oil that Land Rover recommends is Dexron 11D or ATF M2C 33 (F or G) or LATF

So if the BMW oil matches the above spec or is better and I think it would then use it.
