I recently had an LOF Power Spring fitted to my 90. Whilst it is easier to depress the clutch when it's released it comes up very quickly needing care not to stall. Has anybody else had this problem? Can the clutch pedal be adjusted to make if less fierce?

Ah yes these springs do make the clutch lighter, as the spring goes over centre as you depress the pedal and actually assists, rather than the OE spring that just makes it harder to press the further down it is.

HOWEVER
You've discovered the disadvantage, as l did. It makes the bite point more severe, as it's just at the pedal position where the spring goes over centre.
There's no adjustment, you just have to get used to it. After 40,000 miles l am fine with it, but still sometimes forget when in low range and get a lurch as the clutch engages.

If I knew this before I would’ve never installed, I’ve just fitted the spring today and I hate it. I’ve tried adjusting the master and the bolt on the back of the clutch box.
It makes it impossible to drive IMO, stalled it 5 times on the first drive. Removing it tomorrow and fitting a beefier standard spring.

the LoF power spring is a beefier version, just go back to your normal spring - that’s what I did

That’s what I’m planning, because I removed the original TD5 linear spring tab, I’m going to try the original Tdci spring and the powerslave and see what it’s like.

The 300tdi type over centre spring does make it more tricky to get a smooth clutch engagement in first gear or low range.

You do get used to it, but l still find it difficult to pull away smoothly in low 1st
