Hi.
In the last week whilst driving at about 65-70 mph (54 reg Defender Td5) I have experienced brief losses of power. It has only occured in very wet road conditions and whist raining. The roads are only wet and i am not splashing about in puddles!!! The power loss can either be a momemtary "hiccup" and it has also felt like there is no real take up on acceleration. The first time it happened I stopped and checked air intake area for cracked hoses or loose hose clips, and found nothing so worried about it over a cup of tea. Back in the Landy and it drove as per normal for about 5 mins and then same problem until the road was dryer and then normal performace returned.
I have checked under drivers seat for wet ecu plugs but it is as dry as a nun's crotch in there .
Has anybody else had this problem and found a cure? I have had a search and can't find any other threads which deal with this problem but apologies if I have missed them
Thanks....
