Power Fold Mirror Lubrication

Morning all,

I have Power Fold mirrors on my disco 2 but having a problem with them,
On occasion, usually when its been hot for a few days they don't fully fold out, (always fold in) so was thinking of lubricating the pivot points.
Have had the glass out but no access to the pivot points.
I have looked but can't find anywhere that says how to access where i need in order to add some silicone grease.

Hope someone can help or direct me to where i need to be.

Hi, just a guess as ițve never had them but the only chance seems to be to remove them from the door and try from that side

i'll have a look as that's the only place i've not looked, it's just the pivot point is on the outside of the vehicle.

That's why i suggested to remove them from the door completeley and insert a flexible spray nozzle through the holes you see if you can or drill some holes carefully though that plastic plate

Have you had a good look underneath to see if there are any Plug/access hole you could squirt in?

Ok so had a look under the wing mirror body assembly that attaches to the car, never noticed before but found 3 little plugs on each mirror.
Will be giving them a squirt either tonight or tomorrow depending on how much work SWMBO has for me.
