My td6 will not select/engage any gear, it was driving fine until now, just done a 700 mile trip with no issues after having a high pressure pump fitted.
Plugged my diagnostics in and came up with P0732 gear 2 incorrect ratio

It's currently on 170k, and I do not know the history on the gearbox.

I will be checking the fluid level when I can however there are no signs of any leaks.
Am I looking at a box rebuild do you think??
Any help greatly appreciated
Jason

I've done around 10k in it
oil change was on my list of things to do, think it may have beaten me to it lol

Certainly sounds like it. Lesson to learn for others who might read this, if you buy an L322 , especially with high mileage and don't know gearbox history, put check oil right at top of list. It probably won't stop the eventual failure but you'll be able to see if the 'sealed for life' has been opened before and the junk in the sump will give you an idea of what stage of 'here we go, get ready for an overhaul' , stage you're at.

Unfortunately this is a common problem with the L322, which is why the bay of the e is awash with them many with high milage or gearbox faults and cheap !!. There are a number of threads on here of what needs doing and recommended garages and I'm sure some of the L322 crew on here will advise you. Its one of the reasons I ended up with a P38. No rot issues and all issues are well documented. Apart from that I'm a cheap Northerner :D:D
