Possible fuel pump??

hello all, after some help please as my freelander 55 plate (Fred as he's commonly known) has me stumped. I've owned him coming 7 years now and know every noise he makes. Recently I've been having a loss in power, turbo is still working and sounds like it always has, I've now started experiencing a rumbling feeling from the engine once I hit 50 and he's sluggish. Could this be the fuel pump or is there something else I should look for first, I've never experienced the rumbling before with a fuel pump issue. Thanks in advance

I believe its a TD5, or even TD4, that you have.

Others will probably know better, but it could be the fuel pump. I believe it could also be the fuel pressure harness (loom). These are a known problem area and there is a replacement improved loom.

Fuel filter is a good place to start. If that doesn't restore its power, then the fuel pump is next.

Yes it's a TD4, I've recently had all the filters changed in a full service so will get it booked in for the fuel pump, fingers crossed it sorts the problem, it will be my third fuel pump in 7 yearsx
