As some of you may have read on here I have had a major problem with my p38 4.6 which has resulted in me having to book it into the local dealer (3 week waiting time!) for a test book test on the car, however, I have been told of a full T4 system that might be for sale (not on ebay) it is substantial sum and I was wondering if I did go ahead with the purchase I would be happy to do checks on other peoples cars for say a charge of £25 pounds (dealers charge £120) to eventually recover the cost.

does this sound reasonable

A Faultmate or Nanocom would be better than T4 and a Nanocom can be had for less than £400 and is not locked to one car either. Faultmate can access bits of the BECM that the T4 cannot.
