Is that right? How so? I'll do them when I have the correct size spanner and can do it properly.

impact gun works like a chisel,the bush absorbs the shock,15/16 or 24mm spanner for axle to radius arms

I found at work, anything that can oscilate whilst being attacked with the cordless gun will not undo, yet get the air gun on it and it is no issue.

Ok yeah that makes sense.

I don't know how this job is going as you've had a whole additional day on it but I find that if I put the batteries on charge for half an hour (even if they think they're charged) gives the impact wrench a tiny bit more bite and that's often enough to shift things. To get the big suspension nuts and bolts undone I worked the nuts anticlockwise and clockwise a few times with the impact wrench and kept spraying them with Plus Gas. My goodness me they were hot when they came off. Good job I had new ones to go on as the threads were in poor condition.
