Had my Landrover 2 weeks now. Done dozens of smaller jobs, lots more to do.

Decided to give it a quick polish with my machine polisher. Took about 2 1/2 hours with tea breaks.

Very happy with the result :)

It'll get muddy... My daily motor so need a bit of time to make sure it's reliable. Or as reliable as it can be!

You don't buy a Defender unless you intend to play in the mud... Or tow heavy things.

Underneath mine is spotless ... apart from the little bit of oil that I leave on to preserve it!

When him above decides that she's too dirty, he washes her himself!

God's Car Wash ... You can't beat it! :D :D

When mine gets properly muddy, I leave it that way for weeks. It's the light dirt that annoys me from the road as think it has to be completely covered in mud or all clean.

I've waxed it a couple of times with carnuba wax as it prevents scratches from greenlaning very well.

Here it is one of the few times it was properly clean :)

Seems a lot of folk on here don't wash their Landys. Fair enough. That's up to you.

I enjoy getting my vehicles up to the eyes in mud. But don't enjoy chassis rot so like to clean them properly afterwards.

On this Landy the paint is pretty good so gave it a polish. I've had hand painted ones in the past that I didn't bother with but still kept the underside spotless!

Each to their own. So long as you enjoy your Landrover I don't care if its painted pink and never been washed or polished every day from new.

I love making sure every nook and cranny of mine is spotless before I go off road or green laning. Part of the fun for me is starting off gleaming and then getting it totally caked in mud.

Exactly! :D

That second pic of mine covered in mud (and that taken even before lunchtime on a days Offroading!!!) started off the day lookin spotless like it does in the first pic as had cleaned it and given a quick rub of something chemical guys for getting a shine on black paint that you spray on and buff off the day before

It then was that dirty for two weeks while the rain gradually washed all the mud off as I like the looks you get when it's completely covered in thick mud parked on the street :p
