The REME colour scheme sounds good! It'll make it a one-off machine that's fer sure. If you feel the need to contact lots of people who regularly take military LRs apart and put 'em back together then the place to go is EMLRA :: Index Lots of experience and good sources of mil-spec parts, but beware of the anoraks ;)

Just got a price on a new chassis - £1240+VAT+Delivery.

Hopefully selling some FFR bits will offset even a small part of that cost but it's still worth the lack of hassle rebuilding.

be careful on who's chassis you fit as some can be a right bar steward, price may be right but nothing lines up, Richards Chassis's are one of the best there number is 01302 351060, theres need very little fettling to fit.
 
paddocks chassis are cheaper but ave no idea what they are like..

just had a look and its the same make as was fitted to fred dibbens landy when it got rebuilt

That#s the one's who my price is from. They do look good. Slob, i will look at paddock too, thanks.
If Richards chassis' are that good, the price is ok and i don't mind spending to save headaches, instead of saving 300 quid to find loads and loads of hassle with refitting.
