Scooby22, Next time I'm out and the problem manifests I'll pull over and disconnect the MAF, see if that makes any immediate difference

I don't think a MAF fault would be intermittent, I thought the fault was there all the time now,

Have you checked intercooler and hoses for leaks/ delamination? Cleaned MAP inside and out? If you’re not hitting the boost limit, try shortening the actuator rod a turn or too. Be good to get a gauge plumbed on the inlet manifold.

Only once it's warm. When it's stood over night it runs amazingly until the temp gauge needle gets to the right edge of the blue strip...

MAP sensor. After all I've done a guy with a nanocom and some spares sorted me out
