Disco 2 Please help Obd reader not “connecting”

My disco has got a obd issue when I plug in my obd reader it states it’s not connected I have used the reader on my disco before no issues checked the fuses all good please help me as I have the 3 amigos on and can’t check to find out what’s is wrong

Obvs questions.
Have you turned the key to ignition?
What sort of reader do you have?

Is it a Hawkeye or nanocom?

Have you checked the connectors for bent pins ?
