My 2004 V8 l322 came with the CD player missing so I am looking to just use my phone for music, I had heard you need a Bovee to make it work, I have looked at them and they appear to have either a Jack plug or USB fitting but my vehicle does not have any ports in it. Is there a simple way to make this way of playing music feasible. Thanks.

I bought one of these, the DAB works ok as well

Excuse my ignorance but does the DAB+ just plug in to the accessory socket and then you can get your phone to play music through it,

It takes power from the accessory socket and transmits to the stereo via FM frequency. You can pair your phone via bluetooth or use a 3.5mm jack plug.
The DAB needs an aerial sticking to the inside of the windscreen.

It works with any FM radio. You just need to find an empty frequency that no one is broadcasting on and set the same frequency on the DAB kit as the head unit.

There may be better options but it works for me.
I need to tidy up the wiring when I take the dash out to fix my flaps at some point.

No need to remove the dash to fix the vents....the unit unclips from the fascia....there are little locking tabs to the sides (can be seen if you closely at the inside sides of the vents)....plus, you have to take this one out to remove the fascia anyway!

Yes I did buy one and was going to fit it the other weekend and then the sound went on my system on the car, I have sent the BM54 module away for repair hoping that's the faulty unit. I remember someone telling me to ignore the small faults as they lead to big faults if you repair them on the range rover this looks like it may be fact but we will just keep plodding on, it's not taken me by surprise I owned a 90 for 12 years so I know ownership can be frustrating

Sorry to jump in on this thread (another one).
I have had my aftermarket Sony stereo put in and extra amp and subs in the boot. (Bass mad) and it’s all working on steering wheel etc.
Was wondering what happens when I need to change the time on the clock for example, and also how do I reset the fuel consumption readings on the screen under the speedometer...

Unless you can do it with a diagnostics tool I think you're stuffed. Others may know better as I'm a relatively new L322 owner. Judging by the lack of responses I suspect I am correct.
