hi all!

Could any of you fortunate people that have a parts book be able to tell me the proper name/number for the lower seal on the lower fold down rear door please. I have the van back with a cat flap upper.

That does make sense to me! Haha.

I ordered the rubber, thanks to the help on this thread. But I didn’t look at the rivet things they use until I came to fit it. 78321 are the ones I’m supposed to use, but they look very different to normal rivets. Do I need a specific tool to got them, is there a knack/trade secret at all?

Many thanks

My rubber seal has a plate above and fixed with self tappers , I’m not sure if the part no you mention is for the rear body bolts shown in pic

Thanks for the replies. The seal I have is as pictured, and I can’t really work out where it’s supposed to go haha.

Looking at the part diagram above , I think it’s different to the safari door type where seal fits on back of tub, yours looks like it fits on tailgate to replace that black mess on pic, looks like it pop rivets on , if you cleana off the mess and place it in position and close tailgate check it closes and seals and if so pop it on

I’ve tried it in many varying ways and it always pushes the tailgate out a bit. But it is a new seal...and Brit part! But atleast it’s tight I guess. I agree with you Steve, it’s just the rivets the other side that threw me a bit. Not the normal rivets I use haha.
