The LAKES that's why the hence the name of the thread. The steep twisty trail at the beginning is the Gatescarth Pass. which starts at Haweswater. It can only be driven with a special permit from the LDNP,

bugger so how do we get one

Contact the LDNP and ask for 1. nothing over 100" wheelbase, MT Tyres compulsory.

sounds like it could be the start of next years w/end away i hope to see you at the chipy but not sure abought my work patten that w/end but boomer will have it all sorted

It were a frontera. & there's a Nissan terrano & a Patrol int there somewhere as well. The Response Group is an all Marques club. This were my taxi for the weekend.
