Petrol pump, how do you get access?

How da`fug do yew get at the two nuts holding the petrol pump to the block??? Its a 2.25 petrol series 3 LWB, with a mechanical pump jis` blow the disfrimmeter. Kin just get a 13mm socket and extension, but at an angle only. Starting to round me nuts orf. Tried a ratchet spanner. Have taken off the oil filter, taken off my glasses and my wifes knickers. Its still leaking oil..........steady thats my wife you were about to make jokes about!!!

if you really cant get at them, then just remove the whole plate it is mounted on, iirc there are 5 bolts to remove and they are quite a bit easier to get at
