Keep cranking, eventually it will set itself on fire and you can save on matches:)

On the Thor there is no return pipe to the tank. Just the feed pipe from the fuel pump in the tank to the injector manifold held on with a quick release connector, this could be where the leak is coming from?? The connector is just underneath the coil pack, you will have to climb on top of the engine and feel down to it. Should be able to see the connector with a torch.

Or a match.:D:D

Fuel pipe is cheap. When it gets old it cracks. I had an Astra SXi that regularly had cracked fuel lines where they bend over to go into the injectors. Mind you, after 4 had gone that was it. They joy of a V8!

yup... its a fkt'd pipe....!! just gotta source a new part... and i'm off to work... back next week.... though.. a weekend parked in amsterdam is not so bad... lol...:D:smokin::crazy_driver:

You say its the (expletive) pipe or is it the connector? This may not be so easy to fix? The feed pipe from the tank to the injector rail has been unavailable for some time. After spending months of searching I found one in the US but they could not export it!! So you may need to go second hand, I did manage to get what I hope is a good one but it took three tries to find one where the connector was good as the others had had the connectors badly removed and were not safe. Good luck.
ps the feed pipe is a conjoined pipe, one part is the fuel delivery and the second is for the vapour to charcoal canister system. there is a connection next to the charcoal canister for the fuel to injection rail so you can seperate the pipe over that section. Good Luck and please let us know how you get on.

If you find a supply of new pipes please let me know I really would like one.
ps will be in Rotterdam via P&O from Hull on Sunday am.! just passing through to Denmark. Its a twelve hour drive (two drivers) so won't be hanging around.
