Hi hive mind,

i've just fitted a bumper bar and 2x72W LED spotlights to my 300tdi 110 , i've got a relay and all the fuses etc. for wiring them in but looking for a good permanent live in the engine bay to tap of rather than having to run a wire back to the battery. any good ideas on where to pick up a live, either switched or constant without having to run wires through the bulkhead.

Run the wire under the car to the battery box, following the battery cables, no need to enter cabin that way, quick as well.
A second on this one. And make sure you put a fuse in the battery box for the wire. The only other place is the back of the starter where the battery cable attaches but I do not like that option. I run everything back to the battery box in mine and have a full aux fuse panel in there for everything (I also have the relays in a box in there as well).
I also run it all as twin core so I have an earth that goes back to the battery as well rather than just the nearest bolt.

What lights are you using? My led lights at the front are only about 20w but I then have 6 on the roof and 5 on the bull bar. But neither location gives as high an output as your setup. A word of warning however the ones I have on the roof (hella black magic mini) are almost too bright and if you have new road sign can produce a lot of glare!

some from Amazon, Colight i think, though i'm dubious on how good they will be

Good idea, i've got a spare fusebox somewhere, just need some grommets to seal the battery box as mine appear to have gone awol over the years.. impressive looking job there!!
