right today i had the drivers side wheel bearing done , the fella who done it for me said that i need some kit , £60 that feeds them big silver shiney balls at the back of your wheels from the diff ?

does this make sense to anyone and can anyone shed some light over here ?

nice one d00000d's

He might mean that you need you'r swivel ball replacing which will include a load of gasgets and oil.

If the ball is not shiny any more in spots then it has been run dry at some stage, this requires the ball to be replaced, if the ball is not shiny then the oil seal is not good and the oil will leak. This could resut (as it did for me) in the CV joint running dry and exploding inside leaving me with no drive to any wheels.
