Paying over the odds?

Hello to all

I am on the verge of purchasing a vehicle from a reputable land rover specialist.
It's a 300tdi Defender 90 P reg 1996 csw in very tidy condition & comes with a full service,mot,new cambelt etc.3 month warranty. 100k on clock. I have agreed on a price which is just over 7k, Am I paying over the odds?
I'm guessing that I am paying a certain premium for going through a specialist but just dont want to get burned buying privately.
Hope you can help.

10 years old, full MOT, Bulkheads in good nic? chassis is solid? and its from a dealer? sounds like good un in my opinion as long as its a reputible dealer. heard of lots worse.

A new owner myself.Had to travel over from Ireland so did a lot of research before going.One thing i noticed was a large North South gap in prices, eventually paid 6400 for an early 1997 300tdi 90 with 93000 miles in OK nick apart from that bubbling thing on the backdoor (very technical I know) in Yorkshire no warranty as it wouldn't have done me any good. Your price seems on a par with that
