Payen Oil Seal nightmare

Just got the engine back in after a full recon. Sounds and runs lovely but oil dripping from both wading plug holes, so front and rear crank oil seal not holding! Has to come out again. My recon man used a Payen Dv720 full gasket set which had the seals in. Could really do without this!
Anyone had any problems with them? Last time I changed rear crank oil seal I used genuine LR and it was fine
