yes, im starting to realise the unfavourable miles per gallon..however it only seems to achieve about 50 miles around town for every £20 worth of fuel..and believe me i only tickle the throttle..? is this normal

Sounds right £20 @ 97p per litre = 20.6ltr = 4.5 galls 50/4.5 = 11mpg approx

Welcome. Try measuring the smiles per mile not the miles per gallon & you'll be ok. I do, it works!

Mmmm, low or mid speed collision 'praps. High speed though it pains me to say it you'd be better off in an elderly Espace with crumple zones & no ladder chassis.
