Can anyone help? I have tried and failed to resolve this issue....the passenger wing mirror folds in sync with the drivers side, but then opens again! I have tried double clicking the fold button but to no avail! This phenomina started not long after we had fixed the faulty passenger electric window motor. I am not sue if the two events are connected, but it is driving me potty trying to fix it. I am trying to avoid taking off the door card and 'fiddling' because I fear it could do more harm than good.
Any advise would be massively appreciated

Does the driver door wing mirror open up when you unlock.
When you open the driver's window does the wing mirror open without the engine started.
Could be the passenger window side not fully closed, slightly ajar so the computer not able to activate close wing mirror.
Most work off sensors to trip actions from the onboard computer.

The weird thing is when I go to close the mirrors, both sides close, but the passenger side then reopens itself! In have tried clicking the close button in quick succession but still it returns! I read somewhere that it can be fixed using the memory function of the drivers seat, but then again maybe I imagined it! I will try and look at start positioning of the passenger mirror, just in case it isn't sitting correctly, like you said the sensors can pick up all sorts of info from a wronly 'sittint' device....I will have another go tomorrow. Thanks for the help though!

It's possible that there are micro switches to signal the open and closed positions, if so, it will likely be a duff micro switch, I had that on my previous 4 x 4..
