There is no 'best place' look more at the quality of the part being offered and its price including delivery. Personally I tend to use Craddocks cos they're 20 minutes down the road from work but I've also used quite a few others including eBay

Living outside UKlike me, i use Paddocks. Cheap postage and easy to find parts on website. Part no,s not necessary. You must always go for oem parts or put a G after the part no. to avoid Britpart. They will send you britpart by default.

OK will have a look i have been looking at paddock spares have you used them what im looking for is a wheel bearing, rear shock, steering damper and rear brakes

thanks

Hi Tim. Many people on here have found Britpart quality on some parts to be really poor. Having said that, I have used their shocks without a problem, but I would definitely try to avoid them for brake parts. The discs and drums may (or may not) be OK, but the wheel cylinders don't seem to last long. Definitely ask for genuine or Timkin bearings.

If it moves or your life depends on it don't use britpart! Actually, or if it needs to fit anywhere nicely...

I use a combination of ebay, LRDirect.com and paddocks

+1 as above. Postage is cheap and I have never had a problem with the Paddocks service. Some Britparts are OK but some don't last very long. For those items I would use Bearmarch.

Or for some personalised advice and product knowledge Dingocroft who do brilliant job over the counter but happy to mail order stuff too! A

I have found brit car (nothing to do with britpart!) to be really good... I got all my new brake system from them and when there was a fault with one of the callipers due to poor casting they sent a new one out straight away no questions, even later updated me on reply from the manufacturer. Sometimes a few quid saving here and there doesn't compensate for great after sales. Only issue I have with them is they are no good for the odd small purchase as the shipping is often more than double the part price! So end up going with eBay on little bits.

Thanks for all your answer just spent 400 euros at paddock 7 euros delivery will have to wait 2 days but thats ok. will have a look at all the other places that you have told me about.

thanks tim
