I am still having issues when refuelling.
The tank can only be filled up at the slowest flow-rate or the petrol pump just shuts off.
All the evap system lines have been checked for kinks and have been blown through.
There is no "misfuelling" flap on a P38 (too old), but there is an anti-syphon flap?
Can anyone help with the part number of the petrol filler assembly from spout to outlet to the tank (rubber hose joint)?
Many thanks in advance.

I get same issue unless I don't put the nozzle all the way in. Also many garages have badly maintained nozzles with weak overflow diaphragms, so the nozzle shuts off too soon. Then don't replace them unless they break altogether.

Yes, but this is like verging on the ridiculous. Anything more than the barest trickle and "click".
My Dad said always push it all the way in Son. ;)
What's the risk of it slopping out everywhere though if you don't have it sufficiently in the fool filler pipe?
I guess I shall have to try it.

It doesn't slop out if you do it like that picture - besides most garages remove the latch pins that allow the nozzle into auto mode, so you have to hold it there !!

Will take a real P38 picture next fill up. That pic above was generic google search.

Possibly the anti surge/siphon flap is either stuck or if the tank has been dropped, maybe fitted back to front

They'll be something to catch the vapour and then burn that off when running. The valve might be jammed on that. Cannot recall what it is called. EVAP? Doesn't sound quite right.
