Replacing fuel tank on a 300tdi 90 when undoing this union pipe sheared, I think it’s on the return line which bolts to the tank anybody know a part number & a potential supplier ,so I can source a replacement part cheers in advance

That's the one with the BA screws also, I think.

(A warning that, for some known reason, the screws on that port are different to every other screw on the vehical!)
 
Thanks yes that’s the correct part , wasn’t quite sure as you have to buy an olive & nut separately

As above, it's not the correct part.

I don't know why, but the petrol, which I think is the part mentioned, is shorter.

The 300 diesel one is longer. And more money.


I'm guessing the change may be in the bore of the pipe (looking up the part numbers for the olive etc would clarify this) but it may also be that petrol gets dumped high to cool it, whilst the diesel return is low to maintain temperature?

Either way, the part is different for the 300.
