P38A Part needed

But I would rather put the bracket on first, then slide the mirror on with the tab... but thats me, dont like the idea of putting that much pressure on to glass

He doesn’t mention why there is 2 locations for the tang. I wondered why there is a location at the other end of the glass. Why is there 2 locations when there is only 1 tang and 1 location slot on the mirror body?
 
I need a new drivers side mirror at some point as the heater doesn't work on that side.
If my clip is there, you can have the spare one. However, it might be a couple of weeks before I get to it as I'm sporting a broken rib at the moment.
