You dont have blind spots on the corners, use your mirrors.

So WHERE did you mount the other two?
Would it be ideal to mount them beside the rear indicators to elliminate blind spots on the corner?

Although, I am thinking of getting one of those kits for my discovery

Sandman says that he only mounted two sensors, the other two sensors would go where you have said -

As for the snow, Sandman's post was from December (2009).
