parking sensors fault

Hi.. many thanks for the heads up... I did look on ebayuk and ebay.com and missed this one... I have contacted the seller to confirm that it is the rear sounder as this one looks like a front unit... ill let you know how I get on... many thanks once again.. appreciated.. stuart
 
Hi.. contacted the seller about this sounder .. he is adamant its a rear unit.. but it looks like a front one to me.. in saying this its from a 08 (mines a 02) so they might have unified the parts by this stage (makes sense )... I would try and retro fit it but without the plug (its complete different ) it would be difficult .. any way thanks for the find ..stuart
 
Didn't realise the plugs were different

This could well be the front unit then, unless they did change the design for the later models

Like a said before, a parts dealer or garage would be able to source the right one

Oh boy.. humble pie time.. this was the correct sounder.. and they are the same plug.. and I failed trying to go a 'cheap' way (accidently buying a 12v instead if a 9v ).. any way sorted now.. the sounder was faulty.... many thanks for the advise ... stuart
 
Thanks for the replies Since it is intermittent I am going to leave it until either next spring or until it fails completely which ever comes sooner. The Allcoms software looks good and will consider this as well.
