Paralyzed beloved P38 Westminster.

Hello everyone, I’m the Bailliestonian, I have a 2002 P38 that usually is a joy to own, I had to change the fuel pump a couple of years ago and since then our love affair has grown even closer..... however just the other day when we were intending to enjoy a day out together roaming in the gloaming she refused to move.... and began to make the most terrifying metal meshing noise when I moved her selector (Heart breaking)
Please help if you can it’s so soul destroying to find her so out of sorts.
