P38A Panhard rod

Bit of help needed hear my panhard rod seems to have shrunk ie 1/2 inch shorter than when I took it off any suggestions as to why It know longer fits would be greatly appreciated have I put something back together wrong it seems it can only go in one place and I’ve tried it both ways help?????????????

That’s what I was thinking shrunk with the new paint

All I can think to do is heat up the bracket with the nut end and then bang it straight

You checked side by side comparison with the old one?

Body probably moved to the side a bit. Put a rachet strap around chassis and axle on the diagonal and pull it back a bit. HTH

It’s the same panhard rod with new bushes yer I’m trying strap method and also jacking up one side thanks for tips

Just done mine and had same problem. Along with radius arm bushes new terrafirma shocks, airbags and height sensors

Done all them brand new panhard rod done now just needed pulling in a bit

reduce the suspension height - that will also alter the axle mount to chassis mount distance - or you're already on bump stops?
