Morning
I have just bought a 110 truck cab which has had a tough life. Mechanically it is excellent: had a really neat 200tDI Defender engine upgrade, chassis and bulkhead in great condition. The bodywork, however, is rougher than a badger's arse. The doors have the usual crumbling interior frames and the oxidisation is grim (see pic). I don't want to repaint the truck but want to limit / repair the oxidisation. Is this possible? Am I better off with a new door skin or can I rein in the corrosion? If so, what's needed to do so

Thanks all.

When they get badger arse rough all you can realy do is extend the time some until replacement is needed.
Treat the steel frames with anti rust, rub down the outer and fill any holes then just brush on some synthetic enamel paint. Save up for new door.

Just do what seems to be fashionable these days and glue/nail on some poxy checker plate to the door bottoms while you save up for new doors.
