Cut a flap to reveal the pump. The two smaller pipes going in the top of pump seem to have connectors of some sort connecting pipes to the top of pump. They're very rusty so hard to make out what they actually are. Any suggestions and how to disconnect them really appreciated.

Cut the metal part of the pipes on top of old sender, use plus gas or similar ,Stiltons on plastic pipe side and a fitted socket on cut pipe side,only turn the cut pipe side while holding,plastic side solid mark piper wi two different colored tapes.easy to get them mixed up on refit....

use shock & unlock, ebay,spray nut for 10 seconds,then wait for two mins,if not loose do it again, my nuts came undone ,easely after doing this,good luck. Do this after following DoubleRR , S advice
