P38A for light tell tale light inop.

Just tried the rear fog lights and noticed the tell tale light on the switch itself is not lighting up. There is nothing showing on the instrument panel either. The fog lights are working fine. I was just wanting to know if there actually was a light on the instrument panel or is it just on the switch itself.

Thanks in advance and if possible could anyone tell me what bulb is needed to replace it.

Yes, there is a light to tell you when the fogs are on.

Its part of the switch, the bulb you need is STC1877, this is the orange bulb that twist locks into the switch.

I know it says you need to remove lots of the dash to replace the bulbs but I have heard of someone using two feeler gauges at the top and bottom of the switches to work them forward and out. So you might be able to try this before tearing into the dash.
