Hi all,

I have a 2007 L322 3.6 TDV8 and I have no illumination on the instrument cluster and heater control panel when I turn the headlights on.

On the instrument cluster the rev counter and speedo still work, all the tell-tale lights still work, and the info panel at the bottom still works and is illuminated.

On the heater panel, like above, all the orange tell-tale lights work and the controls work.

My issue I related only to the back illumination when you turn the headlights on.

I scanned the car and the only error I’m getting is in the Instrument Cluster module and it’s: B102F auxiliary switch.

I’ve replaced the physical headlight switch in the dash as I did wonder if it had something to do with the dimmer, but the brand new replacement has made no difference.

Any help with this is much appreciated.

Do you have back light in the airvent left/right door handles and gear stick area

I am looking at my 2011 wiring dia but dont want to post/confuse if its different, I can look later see what I have for 2007.

I’ve just discovered that O/S rear passenger window switch is broken - could this have anything to do with it?

The background illumination all appears to be through fuse 51

I've a ground point location schematic somewhere, it'd be quicker to look at the electrical library for the connector reference which will show the location, I've a feeling it's at the bottom of one of the 'A' pillars but not 100%

The fuse was indeed blown. Going to test a replacement window switch and if that’s the source of the problem will update the thread fully with the end result. Thanks for your help so far.
