P38 Window

My driver's door window kept jamming and started making horrible clunky noises. Stripped door and found the big gear thing on regulator had lost teeth.
Fitted new one and window still jams about half way up just as it did before. As if being raised unevenly. Runners in door look ok and slides on bottom of window look ok
Nothing seems to be adjustable to alter the position of the slides.
Can anyone help please?

It must be binding somewhere you need to find out where.

some cheap regulators run out of true, is the motor located fully

Yes the motor is properly located
It was the cheaper version that I fitted, maybe that was a mistake
Runners seemed clear when I was fitting regulator, will ret spraying some oil down the runners cos I think it does work better in the rain

The front rubber strip can slide out of the channel I found I could glue it back in. Also You need to make sure the whole assembly is aligned as I found when open if I shut the door with force it knocked the glass out the front runner rubber.

AHH! thank you I will see if I can find a loose bit. Couldnt feel it when had door in bits but will have a look from the top
