p38 window and door lock

Help-The problem is that when you are driving the doors lock and unlock on there own, the rear door will not lock and when you open it the interior light doesnt come on and if the car is left for more than a day the battery goes flat i have also realised that the window does not work on this door as well.

it sounds like it is all BeCM related, the module that looks after security etc. The reason the battery goes flat after one day is that the BeCM is being woken up continously by a neighbours/your wireless network, wireless doorbell, wireless security system etc. operating on the same frequency as the remote. This is very common, do as search under 'flat battery' amd better explanations and fixes are on this forum.

The battery going flat may have confused/damaged the BeCM resulting in the errors you are experiencing.

sounds like some of the problems that i am having . and what ave found so far was my door lock was faulty and the connecters between door wireing loom and the right hand side wireing loom is green. so i would check your wireing.
ave just been told that when it was raining the doors would lock and unlock so i ould check the connectoin for the drivers door wiring to maim loom which can be found just inside the "A" piller, by removing the rubber covering the wiring which runs between the door and the piller .i hope this has been some help

do you not think it could be a wiring fault
