p38 range rover won't turn over

I've just changed my engine in my p38 dse auto 2 a different engine and manual box changed the gearbox loom ecu. When I go 2 Turn the: key just get a click under driver seat and in fuse box.swap the whole fuse box, starter. Any1 help

Not sure never had any trouble got a bbs sync mate plugged that in but no good. Does seem like that could b the problem

did you change engine ecu as i believe that the becm need setting to new one ?

No just the 1 4 the gearbox. Been told it should run

Did you remove an early or late engine and which engine/gearbox combo are you trying to install as there be setting's problems in the ecu's, probably.

Do you still have a autobox ecu fitted and have the correct engine ecu (petrol/diesel/early/late...) ecu???

Not sure on year of engine I bought a truck with a engine and manual box in and running. Put it into another but had 2 change the gearbox loom and ecu under passenger seat so the low box switch was fitted

You will have to fit a manual transmission engine ECU and sync it to the BECM.

Ok thanks for the help will try and get that done and hopefully fixed
