p38 losing power when goes above 70

hi just recently i was going down the m1 when i decided too overtake then all of a sudden i lost power :eek: i managed too get home slowly :mad: and when i went back too it later it was fine and drove fine :D untill i took her on motorway again. can anybody help me with this problem plz cheers al:confused:

This happened to us with a diesel Peugeot. It turned out to be water in the diesel holding tank interfering with the flow of the fuel. on both occasions it had been very wet.My daughter had a similar problem with a Rover 216 and hers was a fuel pump overheating and then cutting out.Took ages to diagnose! Neither were Landys but the principle might be the same.
