P38 Internal door handles - Oops.

removing the latch IS fiddly. It IS possible though. After swapping latches more than 10 times (door lock actuator probs), I'm a dab hand now. But the first time, you wonder if it is possible.... Good luck - you'll manage it eventually!

Yup, I undoing the three bolts that hold the latch allowed it to be moved around enough to gain access to the bit I needed.

Just struggling to put the outer cap over the plastic neck at the internal door handle end now. Now helped by the fact that it's snowing and about minus 2. Might try warming it up with a hairdryer.

Phew. Don't you just love Rangies?

Noticed that the tweeter was completely smashed so I'll have to get a new one. Looks like someone's had the tweeter panel off in the past and didn't know how to do it. Ah well.
