What year is your car? The earlier models sensors have a small loom as part of them.up to 97 I believe. Pm me .well it passed its mot last friday - only advisory was a slight oil leak and rusty springs.
am debating whether to put it back on air suspension - ordered 4 dunlop air bags and the compressor and tank and air pipes are still there but no height sensors. I can buy non genuine sensors but cant find anyone that sells the short harness as it looks like the existing plugs on the main harness will not reach - do i need short leads for all 4 sensors or just the front 2 ?
Other question is should there be short interconnecting air pipes for the front 2 airbags because the 2 blanked off front airbag pipes look a little short to me.
I also assume the airbags with the plastic top and bottom mounts fit direct - I have seen some youtube vids where the top of the front airbags have an aluminium top hat affair with a circular thick castellated rubber gasket between the top of the airbag and the alloy top hat ? Has anyone got any good 2nd hand height sensor looms to sell ?
Yours will have the short wiring loom as part of the sensor then.AAAhhhh good point didnt know that cos mine is a 95
Sorry for bum gen
