Its illigal without proper dcr marked lights that are projectors cleaning system and self leveling rear suspension. Any way they are not as good to see with as made out and especially in a h4 set up. Patterns off dazzle too much light too close and short to the road. Strain your eyes dazzle everyone coming towards you they're brighter in the wrong places. i tried hid h4 bulbs in my t4 van tried them in the rangie and nope set up is still all wrong so best set up for a h4 bulb is a normal 55/60w h4 bulbsGet rid. HIDs on non projector headlights are a menace to society. They blind oncoming motorists and, in my opinion, should be banned unless in correct projector lenses.
I understand your point but it doesn't give me an answer. What is the add on unit you can but if you can't find a fault.Get rid. HIDs on non projector headlights are a menace to society. They blind oncoming motorists and, in my opinion, should be banned unless in correct projector lenses.
Construction and use regulations, they are illegal unless the car has leveling headlights and wipers/washers.I understand your point but it doesn't give me an answer. What is the add on unit you can but if you can't find a fault.

many ta,s wammers ive just ordered some from your link.ive always been curious to see if they live up to the hype.i agree also about the use of hid bulbs in a housing not built for them,a bl++dy nightmare,i tried some aftermarket hid's on a merc sprinter once, just an explosion of non focused light.they were removed rapidly and junked.

The law agrees. Different forum but good information: HID lighting conversions
They are now checked at roadside stopsId have thought they also need to be projector type lenses
As reflector lenses cause the light from HID's to glare all over the place
MOT won't stop it as you can just stick in your old halogens for the test and revert to the HID after
