Hi guys,

Would retiming my fuel injection pump stand any sort of chance of curing my fuel quantity solenoid fault? This fault is only apparent for the first 10-15 minutes of driving, then disappears completely(smooth drive, no engine management light).

Here is what I've already done(not all for this fault, but I'll list it anyway):
New battery
Glow plugs
Fuel filter
One way fuel valve

Is there anyone that is local to Lincolnshire that could give me some guidance as I have the tools ready to fit another pump(just waiting for the right one), and I have a copy of Rave to hand!

Thanks, Matt

I would say no. When the pot tracks wear position and feedback all you can do is change it. It will get worse.
